I would donate, obviously you know I'm a fan of your writing. I'm surprised you've never set up a Patreon. Maybe you don't want that obligation or feeling like you have make the different "tiers" feel worth the money. I've just found it the easiest system for me to give money regularly to ~20 projects/people I find interesting. I only give 1-5 per each and I don't even really check the different projects as much as your substack honestly. Some are structured per major update or video but I tend to mentally group the cost as ~$50/month I'm giving to support stuff I want to see, regardless of when I actually see it :)
